A game of values and opinions for 3-6 players
Designed by Mike Petty
Five items are placed on the table --things like "Hope", "Garbage Collectors" and "Underwear". Now everyone has to rank them in order of importance. Players get points when they match the rankings of other players. Playable in partnerships or as individuals trying to match the majority, What's It To Ya? is a great game for generating plenty of laughs and discussion. |
Speak your mind about the most important things in life and ridicule those who think otherwise! Full of philosophy and frivolity, along with heart-warming illustrations of those wacky funsters, Up and Down, all for only $4.50. A game takes about 15-30 minutes and comes with everything you need to play |
Want to peronalize the experience? Here's a graphic of blank cards you can fill out and add to the fun. If you print these on glossy photo paper, you can write on them and erase them with dry erase markers.
Thanks to everyone who purchased What's It To Ya? in 2003! Now the current B&W version is sold out. If you wanted a copy, but you didn't get one from our initial print run, don't worry. New World Games has published a nicer edition with new artwork by Scott Starkey, better cardstock for the ranking cards and it even includes a splash of color! Terry Carr, owner of Fair Play Games and New World Games has agreed to stick with my B&W Games philosophy for this game by doing a simple production that he can offer at a really low price. It's currently only available from Fair Play Games for around $8.
Here are some comments regarding the first edition from Tom Vasel, a gamer in Korea:
"A very inexpensive, fun romp for three to six players can be found in this small box. It was a game that was instantly picked up by those in my gaming group and was the highlight of the night the time I first brought it out. It is an excellent party game and will fit many groups playing style. I find that most people like the games that are short and simple, and Whats It To Ya? is one of those games."

Other comments on the first edition...
From Jared Shaw: "I recommend playing this game. It is a great conversation starter and it helps you to get to know others. It works with small groups and can work for larger groups as well. What is really impressive about this game, is that it is very easy to add additional cards to the game, and it won't cost anything. "
From Charles Ferrin: "I usually prefer German games like Settlers, but What's It to Ya? is my favorite exception. This independent and inexpensive game surprised my friends and I with its entertainment value. Trying to guess the values of your friends is not easy, but it is fun."
