Rage Card Game
From the Publisher...
Rage takes the simple mechanics of a “trick-taking” game and adds several twists, making it more fun, exciting, and a new way to play cards. Each hand of the game is played with a decreasing amount of cards — until the tenth trick, when the hand is made up of only one card! Players must determine, prior to each round, just how many tricks they will take, but must be careful, because special cards can greatly affect the game play. These cards, along with a randomly changing trump color, can add points to a hand, make it worth negative points, or even cancel out trumps altogether! Rage is ideal for 2 to 6 players, ages 8+

We have a lot of fun with this game. I strongly suggest playing with a five point penalty for not making your exact bid. For some reason that's left out of this Fundex edition. Otherwise, this is a really fun filler that anyone can easily learn. |

This was the family game growing up and we still love to play it. We remind each other that the name of the game is Rage becuase it can get a little heated when we play minus points cards on someone else or steal their trick. Or the rage boils up when the trump color can change just when you think you have taken the trick. The unpredictablility is what really makes this game fun! |
The great thing about Rage is that is both a nice card game, but also a deck of cards that can be used for playing a ton of other games with. I've seen lists of more than a hundred games that can all be played with just a Rage deck of cards! |
