| This is a very fun, light filler game with a startlingly pasty theme - Cthulu, of course! Basically, the real game here is a push your luck betting game, where each person has five "saves" - statuettes that ward off insanity - from poor die rolling. To control the risk of success or failure, players choose the value of the words they lay down - if a player plays a word worth 5 points, they only need to roll a 5 or higher to pass. If a player plays a word worth 18, they'll have a much higher chance of losing a statue, but at greater reward. I recommend it. |
