An evil sorceress, through and through, she would like nothing better than to bring Undead spirits into this world. The more she has, the more powerful she is!
So tell me, what is evil really? Maal can taste the glory as she gains the spirit of yet another minion. Power is like a snowball effect, the more you have the more you get. Maal knows this, and the councilman that wants her vote will soon know it as well. Vladimir may have the social graces, but Maal knows how to get people to work for her. It just takes a little bit of magic and a little bit of vision. Vladimir may have freed the constable before her spells took effect, but she will get him again. No one can hide from her for long. Vladimir’s good name will only save him for a time.
Maal is one of the most straightforward decks: she has no cards unique to her own deck, and she just needs enough undead minions to total 30 Value to fulfill her Victory Conditions. However, she can do one thing the other decks can't: for every undead minion she has at the beginning of her turn, she can play an additional card from her hand. That, combined with the fact that she has more cards of many types than any other deck, makes her very powerful, especially once she has a couple of undead under her control.
