I love the theme of excavating in Egypt, and in Mykerinos it is used in an excellent area majority game. The part I like that best about Mykerinos are the patrons. Each patron provides a different power, and these powers can be used each of the subsequent turns, which means that your initial choices have a bit impact on the end result, making Mykerinos a fairly strategic game. A game with fairly deep strategy and a great theme - and which plays in about an hour - is certainly a winner in my book. |
