In this special edition of he game of Risk, you decide the fate of Middle Earth. Choose to command a Good or Evil force and bring them to victory.

To immerse yourself in the Lord of the Rings, you can:
- Play on a highly-detailed gameboard depicting Middle
Earth, drawn by an official The Lord of the Rings
cartographer.
- Go into battle with speically-sculpted characters
representing Elven Archers, Riders of Rohan, Orcs, Dark
Riders, Eagles and Cavetrolls.
- Maximize your powers before the Fellowship leaves the
land.
- Use your leader to aid you in battle.
- Uncover ancient Sites of Power scattered around Middle
Earth and gather Adventure cards for additional bonuses.
- Feel what it's like to hold the power over Middle Earth
with your own replica of the Ring!
The battle will be hard, so you must be strong and wise.
Prepare to face the ultimate conflict!

| This is a very good version of Risk that includes rewards for short term goals, defensive bonuses and other game enhancing mechanics. I like the fact that there is a built-in time limit as well. |

| For fans of Risk, this is an excellent variant that changes much of the core rules and adds a lot of thematic entertainment. Lord of the Rings Risk is a four player max game where two players control "good" armies and two control "evil" armies - a three player game can also be good fun, with compensation integrated for the shorthanded side. Comes with ring. |
