A great deduction game that will help to hone and develop your logic skills, the only knock that I have against this game is I wish that it could include more players. As it is, this is a very fine game that is quick to play, easy to understand, and challenging to play! |
I've heard Mr. Jack in New York described as a more advanced alternative to the original Mr. Jack. I find this to be a bit misleading, since I think the people who will enjoy Mr. Jack in New York the most are actually those who have played the original so much that it has started to get a bit stale. It is more complex and there are more strategies - and it is a must have for hardcore Mr. Jack fans. |

After playing Mr. Jack dozens and dozens of times and recently acquiring Mr. Jack in New York, I have to say this is a brilliant upgrade and alternative to the original game. If you really love the first, this is worth getting - in my humble opinion.
I'm pretty surprised with the number of people who don't get into the game. If you like deduction and trying to outsmart your opponent, if you like the theme if Jack the Ripper, don't be put off by lukewarm reviews. This game is GREAT. |
