Top Ten: The Bill of Rights
From the Publisher...
In the Top Ten series of games you and your friends change some of the more pivotal documents in history. Each player takes on a secret agenda. Changing these historical documents to match their agendas will score players more points. Play as the loud-mouthed talk radio host, the militant protester, the greedy economist, or dozens of other personalities, struggling to recreate these bits of history in line with your own values, goals, and agendas. Once you know your own secret agenda, compromise, cajole, and convince your fellow players to support the amendments you favor. Can you predict what goals your opponents are striving for? Or will you be left behind as the other players re-writen them to match their goals?
Both “The Bill of Rights” and “The Ten Commandments” (which can be purchased separately) are sure to inspire many hours of lively debate with your friends and family. All Top Ten games use the same bidding and card mechanics, but introduce whole new sets of factions, goals, and personalities.
How to Play: 1. All players draw and then play a card.
2. Players debate about which should pass.
3. Players place their four vote tokens, and the one with the most votes passes.
4. Players score points equal to the value of their vote token on the passed amendment. At the end of the game, players score bonus points equal to the symbols shown on their activist card.
