Owner's Choice
From the Publisher...
Owner's Choice is a board game in which players buy and sell stocks in 4 different companies in order to make a huge profit. As an investor in a company or companies, you can make money with dividend payouts or buy selling stock for higher than you purchased it.
However, when you have a controlling share of stock, you become that company's President and make the decisions for that company. Either you can roll dice to benefit all shareholders of that stock or fatten your own purse.
That's the choice you have to make - stay an investor, or become President.
Contents: board with double sided tracks, money, 60 stock cards, 1 action pawn, 4 stock price markers, 6 dice (with stickers), rules.

This overlooked gem is a great, fast-playing, family game with a stock market theme. The dice keep the market random, but overall trends are predictable providing players with some control. Perhaps its best point is its short (less than 30 min) playing time, so even if fate is against you, you don't have long til you can try again. |
Owner's Choice is a stock market game, but is really more about pushing your luck than making smart investments. The great thing about Owner's Choice is that it plays fast (about 30 minutes) and everyone is engaged throughout the game, since your fortunes depend on the actions of the other players as well. It is a great little filler that works really well with 4 or 5 people. |
