This is a great expansion to Settlers. You get 5 different variations that add a little to a lot to the game play. you get a few rule changes if you would like to implement them. And you also get the ability to play with two players. This is a must have expansion. |

If you enjoy the base game Settlers, you will deffinitly enjoy this expansion. The expanded gameplay greatens the amount of strategy used in the game. |

This is a great collection of variations for Settlers of Catan. I ordered it because our group needed a change - the same person kept winning. These variations allowed us to try new things. We really liked the fisherman of Catan which you can mix with most of the expansions and variations. We also liked the event cards because it takes a bit of the randomness out fo the dice roll and lets your strategy unfold more naturally. It has been fun trying out al the variations and I love all of the new pieces. Good buy! |

If you've become tired of the same old settlers games playing out the same way time after time, you owe it to yourself and your gaming group to pick up this expansion. While I can't say that its my favorite expansion for Settlers, it does add interaction which is always good in my book. Definitely give this one a try if you already have the other expansions! |

This set contains a much less complex expansion that accomplishes the goal of variety much better than Cities and Knights. Plus oyu get other essential mini expansions that have actually been improved over the previous iterations that have been released via other means. The Great River expansion is improved, though still something to use mainly for variety. But the Fishermen and Port Master expansions are essential and beg the question why base Settlers just doesn't include these. Now coastal play can be as game winning as a land-locked strategy.
It's a close call whether to recommend Seafarers or Barbarians as the second expansion you should buy for Settlers, but at least buy one of them to help alleviate the tiresomeness of base Catan. This expansion, by the way, works fine if you have 3rd edition Catan instead of the recent 4th edition. |

The scenarios can bring a lot of life to the game if you need the variety. Overall yet another solid expansion. |
