On the Underground

The goal of the game is to build the most successful Underground lines and in doing so gain the most points. You can gain points by connecting your lines to various destinations on the board, and by having the passenger use your lines to travel from station to station.
The player who has best balanced the demands by the time that the deck of destinations is exhausted will be declared the winner.

| On the Underground is a track-building game with similarities to e.g. Ticket to Ride. What makes On the Underground different, however, is the introduction of passengers who use the tracks according to distination cards and preset movement rules (e.g. will walk as little as possible). The passenger movement is only part of the game, but it is a great addition that feels very thematic and adds lots of tactical options. I'd recommend this as the next step for fans of Ticket to Ride. |
