The Fellowship of the Ring Boxed Set

The Fellowship of the Ring boxed set should be your first step after purchasing the The Lord of the Rings tabletop battle game. With it, you can truly follow the journey, adventures, and battles of Frodo, Gandalf, Aragorn, Sam, Merry, Pippin, Boromir, Legolas, and Gimli. Now you can re-create and re-fight your favorite scenes from The Fellowship of the Ring movie.

All the rules for using the Fellowship is in the rulebook. In the rules, the Fellowship and their main enemies are Heroes. Heroes have extra rules which let them use Fate, Might, and Will points to perform additional actions on the battlefield or effect the roll of the dice. This means that they are far more skilled and powerful than normal warriors. For instance, Aragorn and Boromir are able to wade through several Orcs in a turn, while the Hobbits will most likely use their points to move quickly to get away from the enemy. There are rules for Gandalf using his sorcerous powers, and even rules for Boromir using his horn to frighten his foes.
