Munchkin Quest Boardgame
From the Publisher...
11.75" x 11.75" x 3.5" box, with two dozen 3.5" square heavy cardstock room tiles, dozens of link connectors, 200 full-color cards, over three dozen monster standies, dice, rulesheet, and enough tokens, level counters, and sculpted plastic pawns for four players. Kill the monster, grab the treasure, stab your buddy. That's what it's all about. Now, Munchkin comes to the boardgame.
You'll build your dungeon, a room at a time, from 24 heavy, double-sided tiles. Each shows a different room . . . some are good for certain characters, some are bad. Populate it with monster standies and let your munchkins run amok!
Cooperate with the whole group, adventure with a partner, or strike out on your own. You don't know what's behind a door until you open it . . . then another room is added to the dungeon. Battle monsters for power and treasure, or send them after your friends. Reach Level 10, and then get out alive if you can . . .
Designed by Steve Jackson and illustrated by John Kovalic, this boardgame doesn't take itself seriously. Except for the loot – munchkins are always serious about the loot!

| Munchkin Quest is a boardgame based on the very succesful Munchkin Card game. Being a board game, it now comes with miniatures and an actual dungeon (made up of tiles) - and the components are of good quality. Having a physical board and monsters that can roam around on it makes for a more controlled game than Munchkin, but it still keeps the light and humourous atmosphere that is so endearing. Recommended for Munchkin fans wanting a bit more immersion in the theme. |

| Great Fun and Entertaining Board Game. The cards provide some great commentary and comical lines as you play through the dungeon. The game is great because the dungeon is different every single game you play. I felt some of the rules were a bit open ended, but then again it is called "Munchkin" so it leaves some open interpretation. Overall a great dungeon game that has comical moments! A- Rating! |
