Galaxy Trucker
From the Publisher...
Corporation Incorporated is an interplanetary construction fi rm that builds
sewer systems and low-income housing on the less-developed planets of the Galaxy. For years, Corp Inc. has tottered on the brink of bankruptcy: transporting building materials to the edge of the Galaxy, where the need for their services is greatest, is a risky business.
The company was saved by a few visionaries on the board of directors. Instead
of shipping materials to the Periphery, they reasoned, why not build the materials into spacecraft and let them ship themselves? Furthermore, why hire pilots if there are nut-cases who will do it for free?
That’s where you come in. Just sign the contract, and you gain unrestricted access to a Corp Inc. Warehouse. Build your own space ship from the available prefabricated components, and fl y it to the Periphery. Of course, you may have to eat a loss, but any profi ts you make along the way are yours to keep, and Corporation Incorporated will pay you a bonus for quick delivery.
It’s possible that you will end up with an insurmountable debt and fi nish your days panhandling on the streets of Deneb III, but if Lady Luck should smile upon you, you just might find yourself among the 10 billion richest people in the Galaxy!

played this for the first time tonite, and i have to say......MAD FUN!!! Building ships out of old sewer system junk, making sure they can survive their mission, an absolute riot!!! all you need is 2-4 players and about an hour. i will definitely be picking this one up! |

If you like games where you get to plan out your strategy carefully and see it executed perfectly, this is not the game for you. But if you like a fast, fun game where all of your best-laid plans could be thrown out the window in one meteor shower, then give Galaxy Trucker a try. It's fun working furiously to cobble together your ship, and even more fun watching it get blown apart. |

This game is unlike any other. You start by grabbing ship pieces as fast as you can, sloppily building a ship, and watching as space pirates and meteors destroy it. My wife loves the ship building part of the game. I love watching my own ship explode. It's a blast. Enjoy! |

This one had been lying on the shelf for a while. It was purchased because I like the space theme and the Douglas Adams reference. Oh and plus the little astronaut dudes. Hard to resist.
After a couple of months it finally hit the table. What a blast! (Literally) We had loads of chaotic fun, the rules were amongst the best I have seen, very clear and did I mention little astronauts?
It's a bit like Carcassonne on acid. With meteors and lasers. Nice.
Scramble to get your ship built with the tiles matching correctly to their counterparts on the ship. Fly off and see how well you survive the event cards.
It'll definitely his the table next weekend and it looks like I'll have to look at the expansion closely. |

I am always suggesting this game and so far everyone who has played it has had a blast with the construction and with watching their ship suffer horrible fates. We're only happy when it rains! :) |

Awesome Game. Fast paced and tough destruction. Its a game where no matter how good someone else might be at their ship my still be blown to pieces. Awesome Game a must have. |
This is a very different experience than most board games. Almost all the decisions are made in the first part of the game, where you are playing with a time limit - and then you get to see how well or how poorly you have done - in destructive detail. Both aspects are great fun - especially for Sci-Fi fans. |

Love this game....it's a great group game where the goal isn't to survive, but rather to die the least. Tons of fun for everyone! |
