| Cities and knights ups the ante on Settlers of Catan. While it adds to the playing time and complexity, once you have got used to it it's very difficult to go back to the base game. I have played this hundreds of times and will never say no to another game! |

| This one had been lying on the shelf for a while. It was purchased because I like the space theme and the Douglas Adams reference. Oh and plus the little astronaut dudes. Hard to resist.
After a couple of months it finally hit the table. What a blast! (Literally) We had loads of chaotic fun, the rules were amongst the best I have seen, very clear and did I mention little astronauts?
It's a bit like Carcassonne on acid. With meteors and lasers. Nice.
Scramble to get your ship built with the tiles matching correctly to their counterparts on the ship. Fly off and see how well you survive the event cards.
It'll definitely his the table next weekend and it looks like I'll have to look at the expansion closely. |
