Talisman is definitely a long, adventurous game. The theme is well-developed and truly feels like a journey. Amazing artwork and nice character figures. |

Talisman has great components and can be a lot of fun for a group to play. It is really luck based, so if you like deep strategy this game might not float your boat, but it's really easy to pick and play for casual gamers, and it's got a really cool theme :) |

I really like fantasy adventure games, and Talisman is a classic in the genre. The greatest thing about the game is way it creates a new narrative each time you play it. We've regularly found ourselves talking about games we played even years ago! |

Talisman is a great fantasy game that really captures the feeling of being on an adventure. There is an element of strategy, and it is certainly possible to play well or not so well, but mostly, the game is about the experience of playing it and we often find ourselves remembering our games and what happened in them - even a long time after we played. Highly recommended for fans of fantasy games. |

Very luck dependent, but with the right group that doesn't matter. And the right group are definately people used to RPGs and who don't take the game too seriously. |

Very random, but very fun. Plays best with people used to roleplaying games. |

This retool of the classic boardgame has much to commend it. The components are inferior to the third edition, the characters are less well thought out and balanced, but the return of the second edition midboard and endgame give the game back its desperate finish. If you have third edition, it will probably not replace it at your table, but it is a worthy game in its own right.
