| One of the best games out there for integrating theme with the mechanics of the game. What that really means is, that once you learn the game, you can really feel that you're sailing around on the Caribbean, raiding innocent merchants, and what have you. Unfortunately, that also means that someone needs to invest a decent amount of time before hand getting to know the rules. This is definitely not a game that you want to open up and have a group try right away, on the fly, with no "expert" ahead of time.
However, with that warning aside, this is definitely THE game for any pirate-lover out there! |

| This is a very cool game that reminds me a bit of the computer game "Pirates" by Sid Meyer. Of all the games I've tried with a pirate game, this captures the feel of the exciting period of exploration and battle the best. |
