| This GIPF series game is one of my personal favorites... as always, it rings vaguely of other abstract games one's played - but reliance on external sources of strategy is almost always fatal. Underneath, this is really a unique game. |

| My favorite game of the GIPF series, Yinsh has an Othello feel from the pieces that change colors between black and white when they are jumped over. Also interesting is how the game gets harder as you approach victory. |
