Talisman: The Sacred Pool Expansion   (View Game)

The Sacred Pool is a strong expansion from the makers of Talisman 4th Edition at Fantasy Flight Games. One of the main strengths of this mini-expansion is that it adds a great deal of bonus Adventure cards and Spells that benefit those players of Neutral alignment. Prior to this expansion, players of Neutral alignment were mostly overlooked in favor of Good and Evil, but with this expansion they are better able to compete. In addition, the box adds a number of new mechanics for the Warlock's Cave location, including new Warlock Quests and win conditions. Overall, this is a strong expansion from Fantasy Flight Games.

This is the ultimate small add-on for Talisman 4th edition by Fantasy Flight Games. The additional spells, adventure cards, and characters are all must-haves for the serious Talisman enthusiast. In addition, this small box includes the optional non-player "Reaper" character, who completely revamps the spirit of maliciousness that so many people enjoy in this game. If you are to buy just one expansion to your base game, make this one be the first you buy. A close second place finisher would be the Talisman expansion "Blood Moon."

The Blood Moon Expansion to 4th Edition Talisman is a must-own for fans of the original game. This is hands-down one of the best mini-expansions to the game currently on the market, and the addition of the day/nigh mechanic to the game is like a welcome breath of fresh air. The additional cards are very welcome to the set and not at all gimicky. I never thought I would say this, but the Blood Moon Expansion is on par with the Reaper Expansion as one of the few expansions you simply MUST own.
