Experience the golden age of the Renaissance! Assume the role of the head of an Italian Aristocratic dynasty and lead your family like the Medici or Borgia. Build magnificent buildings, cultivate beautiful parks, and invite famous artists and scholars to live and work in your court. Great game!! My game group doesn't usually like auction games, but this one is a hit. Plus the components are very nicely evocative of the theme. |

Better than Settlers. Really. One part auction, one part resource management, POF is a true gamer's game. Thematically, the idea is to develop your palazzo to attract and maximize the talents of a group of artisans. Different artisans prefer different landscapes, buildings and leisure activities. These elements are auctioned off at the start of each round. The components are nice and compliment the theme. Though it can be played with 3, POF scales best with 4 or 5 when the resources are scarcest. Add it to your shopping cart. NOW. |

princes of florence is one of the most elegant games of all times. the rules are so concise that you can't spare one single action without ruining your game. the pace is very fast and you end with the impression that you could have done much more, and needing a replay. |

This game is great, the auction part mixed with the strategy makes this a great group game. |
Princes of Florence is a great game. It has multiple paths to victory (and they seem quite well balanced too), a fairly short playing time and it does not overwhelm newcomers with options. In fact, one of the main reasons I like it so much, is that it hits just the right balance of providing enough options to be interesting, while still being simple enough for most people to enjoy. |

This game is great! I don't get it that people call this one multiplayer solitaire. We had lots of interaction throughout the session. The theme is very compelling. The strategy combos are amazing and refreshing. Easy to learn, easy to teach. A must have/play. Highly recommended! |

While I'm not usually a big fan of auction games, the added spacial element of your palazo, and the satisfaction of seeing your "works" increase over time makes this game a very satisfying experience. There's quite a deep game here for those who are interested! |
