| This game is dripping with theme. It works best with a group that is used to Roleplaying Games, and it is necessary that everyone involved is comfortable with taking on the role of the evil that faces the players, since it is determined randomly, who gets that role. |

| The second edition of Betrayal at House on the Hill has a lot of rule simplifications and clarifications, really aiding the accessibility of this game. It's very fun and has great replayability (given 50 "haunt" scenarios to select from!). The only hinderance to this game is Avalon Hill's production quality - tile pieces easily warp, and there's not much you can do about it. Still, it's good for the company, and I still recommend picking it up! |
| I really like story-driven games, but find them hard to justify buying, since they often have very limited replayability. Betrayal At House On The Hill handles this dilema excellentlly by introducing random elements to the stories (random layout, random villain player) and most importantly by including so many different scenarios, that you will have forgotten the first one by the time you are half way through them! |

| A fun, theme-packed mystery game of exploration, tile by tile, madness! And if thats not enough, 50 unique stories that results in one person being the horrible traitor and the rest being surviving heroes. This game is a blast, it's got a deep theme with light gameplay. Took 45min to teach the game and then play it with 3 people. Absoloute must have! |

| I've only played this once, but it is an amazing game. It starts off as cooperative and changes to all against one when the traitor arises. From what I've seen there are many scenarios that can make this replayable. The theme is excellent and the game is high quality with all the pieces you need. |
