| great worker placement game, a medium weight one with nice bits and cards. there is no actual board as it is composed by 12 mini boards that are turned sometimes with other face. recommended |

| First off, this is a fairly compact game, but it packs great strategic depth. While essentially an abstract game of area-control, I definitely enjoy the theme that's been pasted on, and it gives the game a definite "feel" to it that I've come to appreciate.
The decisions in this game come from how best to spread your influence in and amongst the elite of Louis' court. The order that you play your cards in, the spread of your influence cubes, the secret agenda cards....all of these you'll have to keep in mind to best utilize your limited resources. This is a great game that can be had for a very reasonable price! |
