Get the table extensions out! Conquest of the Empire is a massive game, but not just in size - it is very deep in its strategy, mechanics, and game pieces. This game is not for the feint of heart. This is an upper level game that will probably intimidate new gamers. This game will definitely entice experienced war gamers and those who enjoy political maneuvering games like Diplomacy. Enjoy! |
Conquest of the Empire is a great game with high quality components and good gameplay. However, this rave is about the one thing that really surprised and excited me - it comes with rules for 2 very good (and very different) ways of playing! I've never seen this in a board game before - but it is a great idea. |
