Operation

From the Publisher...
Doctor, the patient is here to see you! And he's got a quite a few complaints, including a broken heart, water on the knee and butterflies in the stomach!
Use all your skill and coordination to remove the patient's "ailments" with the tweezers - without setting off the buzzer and making the patient's nose light up! When that happens, it's time to call in a specialist!

Requires 2 "D" batteries (not included).

A great game, I always loved it as a kid. If you are going to beat it though you had better have a very steady hand.

This is a real classic that is often not considered a proper game. However, Operation is actually a very good dexterity game for children. Children are naturally interested in anatomy and while some adults may find it strange/disgusting to be digging things out of a human body, children go at it full of enthusiasm - they get to play doctors with a "real" patient, and it matters how well they do their tasks. Operation teaches patience and attention to detail - but in a fun way that really engages children.

This is a great classic - and in my opinion very underappreciated. Operation is a very decent dexterity game for children that also teaches them (in a funny way) about human anatomy. Also, children are naturally curious about the human body and find the theme great.
