Vikings
From the Publisher...
Each player is the leader of a band of Vikings. His task is to scout and then settle the islands off the coast of his homeland. As the Vikings uncover the size and shape of the islands, each band seeks to control as much of these new lands as possible. The bands build yards and churches and invite goldsmiths, scouts, fishermen, and nobles to settle on their island to establish the most profitable settlements. But, warriors are also necessary! As, the islands soon attract ships bound to attack them to pillage the new settlements.

| This game has such a unique feel to it. I love the mechanics and strategy of the game. Basically you buy an island tile and its corresponding viking, place it on your base, and score points for having the longest island, most islands, etc. and the vikings give you points and gold. Excellent game. Enjoy! |

| Vikings is a gem among games with lighter weight and shorter playing time. Players each compete to build the best tableau of islands, invading ships, and viking-eeples by purchasing tile/meeple combos in a marketplace. Very much like being a proud viking warrior? No, but still a very entertaining and stimulating game. |
