Akhenaton, Pharaoh of Upper and Lower Egypt, god among men, all powerful sovereign, he trembles before no one. There i, however, one mistake that even an immortal king cannot affored to make: forgetting his wedding anniversary, especially when his wife is the exquisite Nefertiti. Alas, the poweful monarch has almost made such an unforgivable blunder, remembering the event a mere two days before it is to take place. Now he must find a veritable shower of queenly gifts. The task of finding beautiful and original gifts now falls upon his councilors - YOU! It's time to play! Send your servants to the four corners of Egypt, from Gizeh to Abou Simbel and gather up the most impressive objects the realm has to offer. If your gifts are noteworthy and please Nefertiti, there is not doubt that the Pharaoh will reward your most generously.

| Basically it is a set collection game where you have to outbid your opponents to secure gifts of particular kinds (with a big emphasis on having all of a kind). What makes it great, is that it manages to create a very complex and interactive flow with relatively simple rules. It is easy to learn, but there is really a lot to master (timing of closing markets, favours from special characters etc.) - and it can even be played in 1 hour! |
