This game is modeled after the other deck building games (like Dominion), but manages to incorporate dice rolling into the mix. As such, it is more luck-dependent than Dominion and the others, but as long as you can appreciate a good time where you can try out new and different cards/strategies, this game will be very much worth your time. |

Lighter, more combat-focused version of Dominion-style deckbuilding...with dice! Seriously, when you open this tin and find 130 dice waiting for you....well...
Buy this game. It is a massive hit with all types of gamers and is the perfect crossover game. |

I played this game for the first time this past weekend. I enjoyed it a lot. Similar in mechanics to deck building games like Dominion, but with dice which adds a bigger "luck" component to the game. The gaming group I played with says playing to 20 glory points instead of the suggested 12 tends to play better as the game seems to end too early sometimes at the 12 level. I noticed in our game one person got lucky in two different rounds and got to the 12 points quickly around the time everyone was just getting the higher level dice into their possession. We were playing to 20, but the game ended with the leader at about 17 or 18 points since we had exhausted a couple of the creature dice piles. I definitely plan to buy this as my wife loves dice games and our teenagers love Dominion & dice games. |

Not The dice instead of constant shuffling is a nice change from Dominion, and there are enough differences to make it fun. I recommend playing to 40 glory though...it can really flesh out the game. |
