Beat the Buzzard
From the Publisher...
A buzzard/mouse card has been turned over and it´s up for grabs! Strategically play your number cards and earn points by acquiring mouse cards. Once each player has chosen a number card to play and has it face down in front of them, all players simultaneously turn over their cards. The highest value gets the mouse card. But beware of the buzzard - whoever plays the lowest number card has to take the buzzard card which is worth negative points! All number cards played in each round are out of play for the remainder of the game. Once all of the buzzard and mouse cards are gone, add up the points of the cards you´ve collected. If you´re score is the highest, you win!
Our Comments...
This is a remake of Alex Randolf's game, Raj, formerly published by Winning Moves. It's an extremely simple blind-bidding game full of surprises. A great family game for all ages.

Its an amazing family game. I dont recall anytime when we played and were not having fun. I would recommend this game very strongly. It's very similar to the RAJ game. |
This is an increadibly simple but addictive game. It reminds me a bit of No Thanks! in that the elements of the game are very few and rudimentary, but that a great game evolves from them. Beat the Buzzard is all about reading your opponents mind and trying to outguess their choices - like a distilled version of poker - without the luck of the draw! |
