| I like all train games, but Age of Steam is one of my favorites. It forces good money management, has a simple economic/income system based on the growth of your company without worrying about a complicated stock system. Also, each player gets to pick a unique action to do each turn, and each player turn is very short - no boredom. Also, players bid for 1st,2nd, 3rd each turn, so you are always involved in the game, even between turns. There is no end to expansion possibilities, so creative players can easily map new maps for variety. |
