Alhambra - English Edition

New World Games
Why did I wait so long to play this? It's easy to learn; No complicated rules and no little rules you have to look up all the time. There's only a small amount of luck and a lot of strategy. I like how the turns move pretty quickly so there's no lag time between moves. I might grow to like this as much as I like Ticket to Ride. |

This is a nice game to start the night or finish the night. Nice filler game to test and enhance reflexes and quick thinking. The game even taught my son how to add small #s quickly. |

My kids, both under 6 years old, love this. It's basically hide and seek. One person hides the tiger, and one or more people use the magic stick to find the tiger. Very simple, yet great fun for the young kids... and fun for the adults being creative with the kids :) |

I finally got my chance to play it, now I can't wait to play again. It's similar to Lord of the Rings Board game, but with more strategy and deduction - which I like. The whole concept of a cooperative play game intrigues me, yet I really wanted to be the traitor that secretly sabotages the quest.
I'd highly recommend this game to anyone who loves cooperative play, or who can submerge themsleves into a theme - King Arthur and the round table, what could be better? |

Really easy to learn, almost contant action, never a dull moment!!! If you like games with strategy but were turned off to the length of the game or complexity of the instructions, well... try Ticket to Ride. It offers plenty of strategy yet easy enough for young and old to understand. Every time we've played it, we always had to play 2 or 3 times because it was so much fun. |

Awesome game. Not only for young kids, but for adults too. You can have people of varying ages play this and you are all on the same playing level. It boils down to an advanced memory game, with a little deduction. My 4 year old son loves it. |

My oldest memory of playing a game... Waterworks. I think it was my older brother's game, but I used to play it all the time. Great for younger kids and truely enjoyable with the parents at the same time. You can't help but to get into the action and yell "Oh no, not another leak!!!" |

I played Warcraft, the PC game, for years. It is my all-time favorite game. As you can imagine, I was looking forward to playing this. It has similar characteristics of the PC game. The game has the strategy and a little luck (dice rolling and random card drawing) to make it challenging. I found playing a 2-player game was more fun than a 4 player game (and shorter), but still enjoyed it both times. I enjoyed how the rounds of play took place. There are 4 phases for each turn. All players take turns doing each phase. It makes you feel like things are happening simultaneously. The same thing goes for battles. This game is a must have for a Warcrafter, and for those who like medieval games, war games, and/or strategy games. |

I'm a fan of strategic games that are easy to learn and don't take too long to play. This game fit the mold perfectly. My wife, usually a fan of the party type games, enjoyed this game. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes light or medium strategy games. For those who like extremely strategic games, I think you can find enough strategy to keep you happy - I did. |

One of Black and White's first games. This game can last as long or as short as you want. We play it just for the fun of it. If you like to laugh and like to see how other people rank things in life, you have to get this game. |
