| When playing an abstract for the first time there is always the chance that it could be too simple, or too complex. Going into quoridor for the first time I feared it would be to simple.
Thankfully, this is not the case! This game has all the visual appeal, depth, and clever mechanics that it needs to get on the gaming table again and again.

| This is a game absolutely dripping with theme. It captures well the dark ambience of the cyberpunk genre. Within the game are plenty of nods to the fathers of this genre like Phillip K. Dick and Bradbury. The mechenics are designed to complement the theme and convey that feeling of hopelessness associated with the genre.
It is a perfect game for someone looking for that immersive, in-depth, cyberpunk experience. |

| This is an excellent and thoughtful game by the ever-popular Dr. Knizia. The design is elegant. I find it simple to explain and easy to grasp, but with all the depth you could want.
It can be played slow and thoughtfully, or quickly with a mind towards tactics!
On top of its elegant mechanics, the component are beautiful. All these things make Samurai a game I plan on playing as often as I can. |
