Each player will be supplied with a Building Cost card. It depicts the costs of the various items a player can build during the game. For example, a road costs a brick and a wood.
Notice too that settlements and cities are worth victory points. Get 10 victory points and you win the game! Use roads to branch off to new areas for settlements, upgrade settlements to cities. Remember that every new settlement makes it more likely you'll get resources from those dice rolls. See where the strategy comes in? |
