| The classic board game. This game is probably the one that most people think of when they think of the typical board game. Strangely enough, although it's well known, many people don't know the real rules of the game. Many families play with their own house rules, so you may be playing with house rules and not even know it! Things like getting money for free parking, and having to go around the board once before you can buy are not actually part of the rules. And most people don't play with the most important rule: properties that are not purchased by the person landing on them are auctioned off to the highest bidder. I find that this rule makes the game much richer and more rewarding. |

| This is a great expansion to an amazing game. Parts of this expansion work great in making the regular co-op Pandemic much more challenge and therefore rewarding when you can stop these newer, nastier diseases. |

| This is one of the best co-op games I've ever played. Almost every game comes down to a nailbiting finale with the disease rapidly spreading across the globe and your team scrambling to find the cure.
The rules are simple enough to attract casual players, and it is easy for a more experienced player to lead the group to coordinate your efforts in stopping the diseases. |
Settlers Of Catan Board Game : Cities & Knights

| This expansion is the biggest change to the Catan game. It almost feels like a completely different game. It adds a much more in your face competitive style gameplay. You'll need to not only build your city, but also keep knights to fight off the invading barbarians, or your cities will be razed to the ground! |

| USA 1910 adds a couple new variants to TTR. My favorite is the Big Cities variant, where all players are rushing to try to connect only the big cities, such as New York and Los Angeles. It also includes bigger cards for those of us who don't like the tiny cards included in the original game. |
Thunderstone: Wrath Of The Elements Expansion

| This is an interesting expansion for Thunderstone. Many people consider the original a bit too easy, with overpowered heroes and underpowered monsters. This expansion takes care of that by ramping up the difficulty of the monsters, while toning down the power of the heroes. The perfect expansion for someone who wants an extra challenge! |

| This is a great gateway game into Euro-gaming. Some say it's a Euro-version of Monopoly. While I wouldn't go that far, I find it to be a simple game with enough strategy to appease hardcore gamers, and enough luck to give the newer players a chance to have some fun. |

| This is an interesting take on the deck building genre. I recommend this to people who like games like Dominion, but would prefer a more fantasy-oriented flavor. There's no direct combat, but you both compete side by side destroying monsters in an epic competition to be the first to earn the Thunderstone! |

| This is THE game to buy if you want a board game that appeals to casual gamers and the more hardcore alike. Whenever I visit my parents this is the game they ask me to bring over. It can be simple, or it can be cutthroat, it all depends on who is playing. |
