| Highly recommend getting the expansion along with the base game (it's cheap enough!) The little petri dishes are really fun for keeping your "diseases" in, and the variations (purple mutagenic disease & virulent strain) add a bit more spice and interest after you've played the base game a couple of time. The extra roles are also fun- not sure about the bioterrorist variant yet- but it also looks promising- Plus you get smaller pawns so everybody fits on the board just slightly better- what's not to like? |

| I give this game my vote for #1 expansion ever made. This expansion, for it's very reasonable price, probably doubles the actual game in terms of content. You get SEVEN new roles (plus a revised Operations Expert role,) a new disease new pawns to replace the huge clunky old ones and 3 new game modes. Thats right, there are now 3 very different and challenging ways to play pandemic. Including a mode where one players is a terrorist. Do yourself a favor and love pandemic all over again with this expansion! |

| This expansion brings extended life to a great base game. The expansion contains several new ways of playing - some of which change the game dramatically. I particularly like the "traitor" variant, which adds a whole new level of suspense to the game - and it make it more suitable to play with the very competitive types. On the Brink is a must-have for fans of the base game. |

| A must have expansion! The new roles are necessary in my opinion to keep the game fresh and provide players with variety. The additional mechanics found in the virulent strain challenge and mutation challenge are not anything really game changing, but they are different enough that they allow for fine tuning the difficulty for your skill level. I have not played the bio-terrorist challenge because what I really enjoy about Pandemic is that we all get to work together to beat the game. If we want a competitive game we look to something else. |

| This expansion adds so much to the gameplay of the original Pandemic! It even allows you to play against your friends which adds a much-needed competitive element. Additionally, they improved the quality and size of the components which means a lot to me! |

| This expansion greatly increased the replay value of pandemic. I especially like mutation change. The original was really interesting at first, but I feel like I was able to beat it. The expansion put in play some things that really make you have to think and strategize more. Its a good buy. Especially if you feel like pandemic is a good game but that you've beaten it. |

| I was extremely happy with Pandemic but this expansion makes it even better. I like the new role cards, especially the generalist (5 actions) and the continment specialist (take a cube off a ciy for free). The new challenges are fun as well. Those purple cubes can be a problem as you race to save the world from mutation. Or face the challenge of a more virulent strain which is harder to cure. You won't be disappointed with this expansion if you like the original! |

| Some very sensible and entertaining expansions, working both within the theme and the mechanics. And you can just slip in one or two of the elements included here at a time. This really gives your Pandemic game a lot of variety. Just rotating in the roles one at a time can enliven the base game, let alone bringing in the disease variants. |
