The first game I have found that is a coop game. Put your brains and ideas together to try and save the world. Everyone wins or everyone loses. Great fun. |

Great game for 2-4 players where you are a member of the CDC. Several diseases outbreak simultaneously. your mission:stop them before they spread all over the world. Build research stations and find the cures by getting four cards of the same disease to cure it. a simple 4 action turn of travel, cure, discover and build. great game to play in about 45 minutes. played it for the first time tonite, and love it! |

This wonderful cooperative game gets more addictive as you increase the difficulty. Playing once in a sitting is usually impossible. The best mechanic of the game is the epidemic cards. This brilliant mechanic allows for varying difficulty levels, and ensures that each game has varied hot spot cities. |

This co-op game rocks! You and your mates are trying to save the world before 4 diseases devastate the world. If you don't work together, you lose. If you run out of cards, you lose. My mates love this game! |

This is one of the best co-op games for nerdlings/geeks in training. I have a group of friends that I game with that are not into the really intense strategy games yet. They really enjoy this game and I would recommend it to anyone trying to get into the strategy game realm. |

Pandemic is a great coop strategy board game as you and friends race against the diseases in order to find the cure and stop the outbreaks. It sounds simple, but with epidemic cards in the deck it makes the game play a lot more frantic! |

The instruction booklet - Good. The theme - Better. The game - Awesome. I loved it the first time and I knew I wanted to play it more. I love the cooperative play and the way the mechanics work to make the game play as it it were real. The games says ages 10+ but if you have gaming kids slightly under 10, I think you'll be fine with them playing. |

Pandemic is one of the best "gateway" games out there. It is not overwhelming for new gamers, and it's such a novel game that anyone will find it appealing. It's totally co-operative and you either win as a team or lose as a team. Pandemic can get pretty intense down the stretch. Everyone should play this at least once in their lives. Enjoy! |
Kieran
A good cooperative game that makes everyone's different powers useful. When you win, you really feel a sense of accomplishment. The game can be ramped up to a few different levels of difficulty for the more experiences. Pandemic is easy to learn and quick to play, doesn't drag on. |

Our family absolutely loves Pandemic. A game where you work together is perfect for a family board game.

Played this with alot of different people and every time they wated to play again right when we were done. It is co-op so there is no stabbing in the back, a great game to add your collection. |

I love the tension that builds when you pulls cards, hoping that it's not another outbreak or chain of outbreaks coming up. |

Not only great because of the coop nature, but I have found it a great way to introduce people to non-traditional games. I lead with this (or Carcassonne) , then pull out something meatier in future sessions. |

Pandemic is a cooperative game with a unique theme. The mechanics are fairly simple and easy to explain, and manage to produce some interesting choices and decisions for the players.
The game can be taught and played with non-boardgamers readily.
As a cooperative game, the 'opponent' is the game mechanics themselves, and Pandemic has built in a very easy to use means of adjusting the difficulty of the game by adjusting the number of Epidemic cards in the deck.
The ease of learning and teaching the rules, interesting decisions, unique theme and easy adjusting of difficulty all make this game a real winner.
The only weak aspect of the game, in my opinion, is that it can suffer a typical malady of cooperative games. One player, either due to being 'the loudest', or simply being the most familiar with the game and its strategies can wind up effectively 'playing the game for the other players.' |

With certain groups that I game with I always seem to win a lot. This cooperative game was the perfect solution. I enjoy playing against the game and having a team to play with. And for a somewhat complex game and strategy, it plays fairly quickly. Especially when you lose after one round. But that makes us want to play again. It is so fun to challenge the game and not want to stop until you've won. I highly recommend this game! |

This was my first "real board game" and got me interested in this whole community. Having said that, I've definitely cooled on this game and only play it when others suggest it. However, since its a great game to teach to new players, I'd definitely suggest you give it a go! |

The most fun thing about this game is that you play together to beat the board instead of competing against each other. This is good for overly competitive players (they can be mad at the board instead of at you). The game changes every time because of the cards drawn, and the different roles available. It's also really interesting because the players have to think out loud to explain their strategies to the other players, and you get a real sense of who's the "thinker" or the "doer", or the "cautionary" one. A good personality test! |

This is the first cooperative game I played and is quick (30 mins) and easy to learn. The rules are easy to teach to new players. I'd highly recommend letting new players come up with own strategies by themselves so they don't feel like only 1 or 2 players are controlling all the action. There's a lot of tension when the action comes down to the wire. |
A cooperative game with a very well implemented theme. The great thing about this game is that everyone feels useful due to the special abilities of the characters. |
Dog
This is one of my favorite cooperative board games: it's light, fun, and scalably difficulty to win. Players work together to eradicate four widespread diseases from the globe which threaten mankind. Each player starts the game with a variable speciality, such as treating diseases or building research stations, yet this game suffers less from the leader syndrome of many cooperatives, where the player who knows the game best essentially tells everyone else what to do to succeed. This is also one of the most well-manufactured board games I've ever seen. Very nice! |
Mitchell Rowekamp
Great co-op game that will keep you coming back again and again to try and beat this game! It can be hard to win, but even losing is very enjoyable. |
I love cooperative games, and Pandemic is certainly one of the best. I particularly like the fact that the theme feels very integrated in the mechanics and makes sense for everyone. It always reminds me of the hit movie Outbreak, where the decision makers are looking at a map showing how fast the infection can spread - that is the feeling you have when looking at the board of Pandemic! |
Girl in Space
This is easily one of the most played games in my game collection, hands down. Great gateway game to introduce your gaming group to the concept of co-op games. Beware though, your friends will keep asking you for more! So far, this game always gets at least 2 or 3 plays minimal per session. My favorite aspect of the game, is the ability to vary the difficulty of the game, based on the number of epidemic cards. |

This is one of the best co-op games I've ever played. Almost every game comes down to a nailbiting finale with the disease rapidly spreading across the globe and your team scrambling to find the cure.
The rules are simple enough to attract casual players, and it is easy for a more experienced player to lead the group to coordinate your efforts in stopping the diseases. |
Corey
One of the absoloute best co-op games out there, that is truly coperative! Nobody is a "traitor" or has a secret agenda. Everyone wins, or everyone loses. This game is one of those games that perfectly balances simple rules with a fun flow of the game and yet stil the need to think and incorporate strategy. I suggest this for light gamers and hardcore gamers alike, very fun! (Definintly check out the expansion On the Brink as well!) |
GopherJoe
Really fun coop game, is really popular in our group, and a nice end of night game, so that everyone can end the night as a winner (you may need to play more than once to make sure you all end on a win) |
Alex
One of the best and classic cooperative games, mechanics are simple beyond belief yet work perfectly for the game. Always a fun game. |
PWC
A very decently priced game for the amount of gameplay you'll get out of it. The pace, tension, coop race against time is unlike most other games out there. Very unique and the theme is well matched to the action. Highly recommended- Just get it and try it out! |
Ian Lai
The flagship cooperative board game! It's lots of fun, and every game is different. Finally, it's easy to learn, and the different possible difficulty levels let any skill level have fun! |
